Ismail Sher (Lion) is a visual artist whose work centers on cultural memory, inherited stories, and the emotional residue of lived experience. His practice is guided by narrative rather than medium, moving across installation, moving image, and object-based work as the story demands.

Alongside his art practice, Lion works professionally in film and post-production. His experience spans documentary, short film, commercial, and interview-based projects, including work with artists and curators. He works across editing, camera operation, and on-set collaboration, contributing to projects from early production through final delivery. His approach is grounded in technical precision, clarity of process, and respect for collaborative work environments.
